As a data controller and processor, Digicore handles personal information to facilitate payments, manage collections, and monitor financial transactions (“Services”).

Our Services are mainly designed for banks and financial institutions, not individual consumers. We handle personal data on behalf of these businesses but do not control or take responsibility for their privacy practices. Banks and other Financial institutions:
We collaborate with various financial institutions to provide our Services. If you are a customer of a financial institution, we collect and share your payment and transactional data with your financial institution as is necessary for payment processing, fraud prevention, credit risk reduction, or other related financial services.

We may share or transfer your personal data in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Digicore's assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company.

Retention of Your Data

Your personal data or any other information collected will be stored for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Notice. However, we will also retain personal data based on relevant provisions of applicable laws, to resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies. In addition, we delete your data for targeted marketing purposes once you unsubscribe from our marketing communications. Please note that your data may be retained for a more extended period, notwithstanding your request to remove your data, where there is a legal requirement to do so.

How Your Data is Stored

We store and process your data. We protect your data using physical, technical, and administrative security measures to reduce the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, and alteration. Some of the safeguards we use are firewalls and data encryption, physical access controls, and information access authorization controls. Where personal data is to be transferred to a country outside Nigeria, we shall take adequate measures to ensure data security. Our data transfers to countries that do not offer an adequate protection level are subject to the conditions under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA). We will therefore only transfer Personal Data out of Nigeria on one of the following conditions:
